Jackson was the only athlete at CHS to compete in both football and baseball throughout all four years of his high school career. He received honorable mention for football as a defensive tackle and enjoyed the excitement and adrenaline of playing under the Friday night lights. Jackson cherished his teammates and the camaraderie he felt playing both football and baseball.
Jackson was awarded both the Panther Award for Character and the Bulldog Award for Leadership by the football team. Jackson also organized a Relay for Life fundraising group, was an umpire for Little League Baseball games, and delivered firewood for The Salvation Army.
Jackson plans to attend Dakota Wesleyan University and play baseball and study environmental law and business.
